Tanya is part of the Wills, Trusts & Succession Department based at the firm’s Southampton (Bitterne) office. Her current work includes the preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorney, as well as the administration of estates.

- Preparation of wills of all types for persons with estates of varying value and complexity
- Drafting and preparing lasting powers of attorney
- Advising and assisting as to the obtaining of grants of probate and letters of administration (where there is no will)
- Ascertaining asset details in readiness for probate applications
- Securing assets post grant, attending to the payment of debts, and advising as to the distribution of assets as between beneficiaries
- Transferring the title to property following the death of one or more co-owners
- Registering enduring powers of attorney when a donor has lost mental capacity
- Tanya has an understanding of Arabic
