Residential Conveyancer – Lymington

We are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join the team at our Lymington office.

The role will involve advising clients on all aspects of residential Conveyancing. The work involves freehold and leasehold conveyancing, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new-build, and shared ownership.

Good communication skills are essential, and candidates will be required to communicate regularly with clients for instructions and to give advice.  They will need to expedite transactions and to respond swiftly to enquiries, draft documents, research details about properties being bought or sold and undertake all work associated with the exchange, completion and post-completion of properties, including registration.

The ideal candidate’s technical knowledge will be good and excellent communication skills are a must. They will ideally have knowledge of case management systems, and an ability to use online systems such as those used for SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications etc.

You should be able to work self-sufficiently and have good computer skills.

Residential Conveyancer – Southampton (Hedge End)

We are always on the look out for experienced Residential Conveyancers to join the rapidly growing team at our Southampton (Hedge End) office.

Dispute Resolution Solicitor (NQ to 4 years PQE)

We are looking for a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our expanding team of litigators.  

The preferred location for the role is Southampton (Hedge End) however working from any of the firm’s other offices would also be considered.

The role is permanent and preferably full time (37.5 hours per week) although part time hours would be considered.

The role will involve advising clients on all aspects of civil litigation work with a particular emphasis on property litigation  The work will involve areas such as boundary disputes, possession work in both the residential and commercial sectors, the recovery of rent arrears, co-ownership disputes and other associated areas.

Good communication skills are essential, and candidates will be required to communicate regularly with clients for instructions and to give advice. Technical knowledge of land and property law is crucial.  The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in advocacy and will be able to deal with their own case load.

The candidate should have knowledge of case management systems and an ability to use online systems. 

Archiving, Logistics & Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for an Archiving, Logistics & Maintenance Assistant to join the firm.

The role requires travel across all Eric Robinson offices – Southampton (Hedge End), Southampton (Bitterne), Chandlers Ford, Winchester, Lymington and Richmond (London).

The position is permanent and will operate on a part-time basis – 20 hours across 4 days per week.

The role will include undertaking an archiving project across various office, ensuring both the recording of storage locations and arranging storage and collection of archived files in conjunction with our off-site storage facility.  The role will also involve undertaking general maintenance of offices including repairs and improvements and this work will involve manual and physical work.

A company van will be available to use during working hours to support the role.

Strong communication skills are essential as well as a good level of organisation to ensure that tasks are carried out in a timely and methodical manner.

You should be able to work self-sufficiently and have good computer skills.

Corporate & Commercial Property Solicitor

We are looking for a Corporate & Commercial Property Solicitor to join our growing team.

The role will involve advising clients on all aspects of both corporate and commercial property work.  This includes but is not limited to buying and selling freehold and leasehold property, and acting in relation to new, or existing leases, either from the perspective of the landlord or tenant.  The corporate areas include buying and selling limited companies (share sales/purchases) and businesses (asset sales/purchase), company formation and restructuring, general corporate advice and shareholders agreements.

Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is having confidence and detailed knowledge of corporate areas.  The successful candidate will be required to manage their own caseload and client relationships.

The ideal candidate’s technical knowledge will be strong and they will preferably have knowledge of case management systems and an ability to use online systems.

 

Residential Conveyancing Assistants – Winchester, Chandlers Ford, Bitterne & Southampton (Hedge End)

We are looking for experienced Residential Conveyancing Assistants to join the established teams at our Winchester, Chandlers Ford and Southampton (Hedge End) offices.

The role will involve providing support to Conveyancing Fee Earners across all aspects of residential Conveyancing. The work involves freehold and leasehold conveyancing, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new-build, and shared ownership.

Good communication skills are essential, and candidates will be required to communicate regularly with clients.
