Mark Elloway

Mark joined the firm in October 2019 and is part of the Wills, Trusts and Succession Department based in Southampton (Bitterne). His current work includes preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and the administration of both simple and complex estates.

Qualifications and professional memberships

• Admitted as a Fellow of The Institute of Legal Executives in July 1995
• Member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP)
• Accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly

• Over 25 years qualified legal experience as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, now Chartered Institute of Legal Executives
• Drafting Wills of all types from simple Wills for individuals and couples to more complex Wills with trust and Inheritance Tax considerations
• Registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney
• Preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Preparation of Declarations of Trust for property owners
• Dealing with all aspects of estate administration from simple estates to estates with a foreign element
• Advising on tax during estate administration periods (Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax)
• Drafting post death Deeds of Variation
