Cupcake Day to raise awareness of Alzheimers

Dementia is devastating to those who are effected.  In the UK someone develops dementia every three minutes and there is currently no cure.  The Alzheimer’s society is the UK’s leading dementia charity and support research into this cruel illness.  They provide information and support, improve care, fund research and create lasting change for people living with dementia.

The teams at Eric Robinson will joining in the national campaign and baking cupcakes to sell in our office receptions on Thursday 14th June 2018.£21 could pay for a Dementia advisor to spend an hour with someone who has just received a dementia diagnosis.£100 could provide emotional support to people recently diagnosed with dementia. £208 could pay for one of the Alzheimer’s  Society volunteer-led programmes

At Eric Robinson, we understand how difficult living with dementia can be and are able to help client’s to plan for a future just in case the worst happens.  On the 14th June our specialist staff will be happy to talk you through the process of the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.  There are a number of guides on the website to provide more information or these can be collected from our offices.

So we will be glad to meet you on the 14th June 2018.  There is no need for an appointment just pop along to the office for a cake and a chat and support this worthwhile cause.
