Experience and expertise
- Over 28 years of legal practice initially specialising in personal injury work.
- Experience in dealing with pre-action protocols and court proceedings in relation to and advising on a wide range of contentious matters, including contract, tort and negligence
- Contentious probate, including assisting and advising clients in relation to disputes in respect of estates and the distribution of assets in accordance with a Will
- Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975
- Advising clients in respect of contract disputes and breaches of contract
- Property litigation and landlord and tenant work including advising on options for non-payment of rent, recovery of rent arrears for private landlords and property repossessions
- Advising in relation to building disputes and assisting clients to resolve issues which have arisen during building work
- Advising on statutory demands
- Dealing with claims for debt recovery
- Negotiating settlements
- Advising as to alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration
